U.S. Army Soldiers from 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division enjoy interacting with Soldiers from the Japan Ground Self Defense Force and Australian Army, during a barbecue hosted by the 6th Royal Australian Regiment at Lavarack Barracks, Australia July 14th, 2023. During Exercise Talisman Sabre 23, Comanche Co. will be attached to the 6th RAR’s brigade. The Barbecue was an opportunity for the 6th RAR to celebrate a successful warfighter exercise and welcome Comanche Co. prior to TS23.
Talisman Sabre is a large-scale, bilateral military exercise between Australia and the United States, which strengthens relationships and interoperability among key allies and enhances our collective capabilities to respond to a wide array of potential security concerns.
