Wounded warriors from the Rangers, a wheelchair basketball team from Brooke Army Medical Center, prepare for defensive moves against a Fort Hood Warrior Transition Brigade 1st Battalion soldier. The two teams were shooting for a win during the double elimination tourney hosted by the WTB Nov. 20 to celebrate Warrior Care Month, which is held annually in November. The Rangers defeated WTB’s A Company and finished second in the tourney, which featured four WTB teams, the Rangers, and the Harker Heights Hustlers, who came in first. Wheelchair basketball is part of the WTB’s adaptive conditioning program.
