Marines and airmen unload a Boeing 747-400 aircraft at Tinian International Airport Nov. 28 during Exercise Forager Fury 2012. This was the first 747 to land on Tinian and brought gear and equipment vital for Marine Aircraft Group 12’s execution of the exercise. Tinian, an island of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, will play host for nearly 100 Marines and sailors during FF12. Training on Tinian's West Field will include emplacement of arresting gear, fuel storage, and fuel distribution for purposes of extending aviation training throughout the Mariana Island Range Complex. This historic landing marked the beginning of the exercise which will run through Dec. 19. The Marines are with Marine Wing Support Squadron 171, MAG-12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force. The airmen are with 734th Air Mobility Squadron based out of Anderson Air Force Base, Guam. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Justin M. Pack/released)
