230707-N-CK999-1090 SAN DIEGO (July 7, 2023) Chief Demetreous Hill, from Talladega, Ala., works with members of Federal Fire Department San Diego to combat a simulated fire during a a drill onboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). The drill, required by the Industrial Ship Safety Manual for Fire Prevention (8010), was created to train integrated teams of Sailors and base fire fighters to combat casualties in industrial environments.
