SAN DIEGO (July 5, 2023) - Operations Specialist 2nd Class Nelda Otzoy, a native of Russellville, Alabama studies for the Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS) test in the mess decks aboard USS Boxer (LHD 4). ESWS is a qualification program emphasizing competency of general knowledge in all facets of the ship. Boxer is a Wasp-class amphibious assault ship homeported in San Diego.
