SCHRIEVER SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Outgoing Commander of the 12th Delta Operations Squadron (DOS), U.S. Space Force (USSF) Lt Col Jonathan R. Noonan (right) surrenders the squadron guidon to Space Base Delta 12 Commander, Col E. Lincon Bonner (left) during the units Change of Command Ceremony at Schriever SFB, CO 30 June, 2023. During the ceremony (USSF) Lt Col Israel Abensur assumed command of the squadron. The 12th DOS prepares U.S. Space Force forces to prevail in a contested, degraded, and operationally limited environment through the test and evaluation of USSF capabilities and felivery timely, accurate, and expert information in support of deadly weapon system aquisition, operational acceptance and readiness decisions.
