PARIS (June 29, 2023) - Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro announced that a future Constellation-class guided-missile frigate will be named USS Lafayette (FFG 65). The future USS Lafayette, the fourth of our new Constellation-class frigates, will honor of Marquis De Lafayette and his service during the American Revolutionary War.
