    U.S. Army Capt. Matthew Jordan, J-7 (Engineer) project officer, and U.S. Air Force 1st Lt. The U.S. Southern Command Situational Assessment Team (SSAT) is a quick-reaction deployable team comprised of experts that provide the commander an immediate assessment of conditions and unique Department of Defense requirements which might be needed during humanitarian assistance or disaster response events throughout Central America.
