U.S. Air Force firemen with the 177th Civil Engineer Squadron respond to an F-16C Fighting Falcon fighter pilot simulating disorientation during a wing readiness exercise validation (REV) on June 16, 2023, at the Atlantic City Air National Guard Base, Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. The firemen are tasked with approaching, assessing and egressing the fighter pilot from the jet within agile time constraints.
