Ghana Air Force Maj. Emmanuel Peter Kyei, No. 3 Helicopter Squadron, Ghana Armed Forces, prepares a MI-171SH military transport helicopter prior to flight from Tamale to Daboya, Ghana, as part of African Lion, June 8, 2023. The helicopter serves as a medevac, required for a live- fire event on the Daboya shooting range. African Lion is an annual training exercise between the U.S. and participating African nations designed to increase interoperability and build partnerships.
