NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO (June 1, 2023) Lt. Cmdr. Samuel Nicolas, left, assigned to Fleet Surgical Team 5, gives a tour of the Embedded Mental Health (EMH) building to Franklin Parker, assistant secretary of the navy for manpower & reserve affairs (M&RA), at Naval Base San Diego. The EMH building is the new mental health facility for CNSP operational Sailors, with an overarching goal to give active duty personnel fast and quality access to mental health care, provide consultation to triads, and training for medical personnel and crews.
