U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Brendan Henkel, a military police officer with the Military Police Support Company, 4th Law Enforcement Battalion, Marine Corps Reserve, out of North Dakota, instructs Ghana Soldiers on basic rifle marksmanship at Daboya, Ghana, June 7, 2023 as a part of African Lion 2023. U.S. military members and Ghana Armed Forces are scheduled to hold several training events throughout Ghana during the exercise. African Lion is an annual training event between the U.S., Ghana, Morocco, Senegal, and Tunisia and is designed to build interoperability and strengthen partnerships.
