U.S. Marine Corps Col. Timothy Dremann, the commanding officer for the 4th Marine Corps District, speaks to wrestling coaches about why wrestlers make great Marines, as well as different leadership qualities, tactics, and traits that the coaches can use with their athletes during the 2023 Summer Silver Coaches College hosted by USA Wrestling in Newark, New Jersey, on June 8, 2023. The partnership between USAW and the Marine Corps aims to increase awareness of the Marine Corps among educators and coaches, who are seen as key influencers in their communities, by engaging these influencers, the Marine Corps hopes to inspire more young people to consider a career in the Marine Corps and to promote the values of discipline, leadership, and teamwork.
