U.S. Army soldiers from the 173rd Airborne Brigade, fold an American flag over the casket containing the remains of a WWI unknown soldier during his burial ceremony at Oise-Aisne American Cemetery, France.
This unique event came during the 100th anniversary of the American Battle Monuments Commission, an independent federal agency charged with honoring America’s fallen overseas whether they be known or unknown.
