Col. Alisa Wilma is the first veterinarian to command a military treatment facility. Wilma likened the experience to the hit show Ted Lasso and said she would lead from the heart and rely on the expertise and professionalism of her team at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital. Wilma assumed command of BJACH at 10 a.m., June 5 during a change of command ceremony at the Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Polk, Louisiana.
