U.S. Army WWII veterans were greeted by civic and local leaders June, 1 2023, as they arrived in Normandy, France, to commence the beginning of the commemoration ceremonies for the 79th anniversary of D-Day.
The 4th Infantry Division’s participation in the 79th D-Day commemoration showcases the legacy of Ivy Soldiers who represent the Ivy “READY” mindset and remains a critical reminder of the steadfast and loyal relationship between the U.S. and our European Allies and partners.
