New York (May 26, 2023) – U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Jacob Brophy, a crew chief assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – New York, gives tourists and New York natives a tour of a MV22 Osprey on the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), during a guided tour demonstrating U.S. Marines and Sailors’ capabilities as part of Fleet Week New York 2023 (FWNY), May 26, 2023. During FWNY 2023, more than 3,000 service members from the Marine Corps, Navy and Coast Guard and our NATO allies from Great Britain, Italy and Canada are engaging in special events throughout New York City and the surrounding Tri-State Region, showcasing the latest capabilities of today’s maritime services and connecting with citizens.
