During the ceremony, Rear Adm. Robert Westendorff relieved Velez as commander, Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 10 with Vice Adm. James Kilby, commander, Task Force 80 and deputy commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, presiding. CSG-10 is an integrated combat weapons system that delivers superior combat capability to deter, and if necessary, defeat America’s adversaries in support of national security.
