Shperdheja Lazarelo, of the Albania Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear company for an interview focused on the training and collaboration between NATO forces. Interviews conducted on the Albanian Armed Force Complex, May 24, 2023, as part of Defender Europe 2023.The goal of Defender Europe 23 is to foster closer relationships, increase readiness, and enhance interoperability among service members of the New Jersey Army National Guard and the Albanian Army. DEFENDER 23 demonstrates USAREUR-AF’s ability to aggregate U.S. combat power quickly in Eastern Europe, increase lethality of the NATO alliance, build unit readiness in a complex joint, multinational environment, and leverage host nation capabilities to increase USAREUR-AF’s operational reach.
