Travis Thompson, an assistant project manager with U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity, speaks with participants about developing blood products during the National STOP THE BLEED® Day event, Fort Detrick, Md. May 25, 2023. During the event, three dozen event attendees learned about traumatic hemorrhages and participated in hands-on training led by emergency responders and medical subject matter experts.
