Jacob Whitcomb, both with Marine Forces Command (MARFORCOM), clear a stairway while securing and isolating an objective during exercise Intrepid Maven 23.3 in the United Arab Emirates, May 19, 2023. Intrepid Maven 23.3 is a Task Force 51/5-led bilateral exercise between MARCENT and the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces designed to improve interoperability, strengthen partner-nation relationships in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility and improve both individual and bilateral unit readiness.
