An F-16 Fighting Falcon, assigned to the Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Command Test Center, flies over Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, May 10, 2023, during Northern Edge 2023. The exercise provided the opportunity for AATC personnel to test the “angry kitten” combat pod, an Electronic Warfare (EW) countermeasure system that can be housed in removable, adaptable pods under aircraft wings or fuselages.
