Komotini, GREECE (May 12, 2023) – Hellenic Army Sgt. Athanasia Michalakidou (left), assigned to D Corps Military Band of Greece, and Spc. Masterlie Metellus, assigned to U.S. Army Europe and Africa Band and Chorus, dance during a concert at the Komotini Opera House in Komotini, Greece. The U.S. Army Europe and Africa Band and Chorus are currently in Greece supporting DEFENDER 23. DEFENDER 23 is a U.S. European Command directed multi-national, joint exercise designed to build readiness and interoperability between U.S. and NATO allies and partners.
