Iowa Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to Company B, 1st Battalion, 171st Aviation Regiment, drop off a historic F-80 Lockheed Shooting Star aircraft at Camp Dodge in Johnston, Iowa, on April 11, 2023. The unit was tasked with sling loading the aircraft with a CH-47 Chinook helicopter from Camp Dodge to the 185th Air Refueling Wing in Sioux City, Iowa, in September 2022 so it could be refurbished.
