Staff Sgt. Nathaniel McCory, carpentry and masonry specialist, Company E, 334th Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, Iowa Army National Guard, fires an M17 pistol downrange during the weapons qualification course as part of the Region IV Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition at Camp James A. The BWC was a five-day competition that tested Region IV ARNG Soldiers on a variety of technical and tactical skills, including both mentally and physically challenging events.
