    26th Marine Expeditionary Unit     

    U.S. Marines and Sailors with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) land on the Kaiser-class underway replenishment oiler USNS Patuxent (T-AO-201), a simulated enemy ship while conducting a visit, board, search and seizure during Amphibious Ready Group/MEU Exercise (ARGMEUEX), Atlantic Ocean, April 29, 2023. Maritime Interception Operations are utilized to capture enemy vessels, combat terrorism, piracy, and smuggling.
