The C-17 "Globemaster III" of the Strategic Airlift Wing's heavy airlift squadron landed at Decimomannu military airfield to unload its Norwegian Soldiers and cargo for NATO’s exercise Noble Jump 23 in Sardinia, Italy April 29. These Soldiers are a part of the Very High Readiness Joint Taskforce of the NATO Response Force (NRF). The NRF is a technologically advanced, multinational force made up of land, air, maritime and Special Operations Forces components that are rapidly deployable.
