The winners for the 76th ORC were announced at the Best Warrior Competition Awards Ceremony on Fort Lee, March 30, 2023. Posing with the 209th Regional Support Group senior enlisted noncommissioned officer, Command Sgt. Maj. Rodney Davenport are the following Soldiers:
Soldier of the Year Runner-Up: Spc. Zachary Borba, 323rd Chemical Company, 455th Chemical Brigade
Soldier of the Year Winner: Spc. John Templeman, 334th Chemical Company, 455th Chemical Brigade
NCO of the Year Runner-Up: Cadet Justin Dungca, 414th Chemical Company, 415th Chemical Brigade
NCO of the Year Winner: Staff Sgt. William Laws, 318th Chemical Company, 209th Regional Support Group.
The 2023 Best Warrior/Best Squad Competition hosted by the 80th Training Command (TASS) at U.S. Army Fort Lee, Virginia from March 23-30. Over 40 Soldiers competed representing multiple commands, including the 3rd Medical Command Deployment Support, 63rd Readiness Division, 76th Operational Response Command, 81st Readiness Division, 88th Readiness Division, 99th Regional Support Command, and 807th Medical Command (Deployment Support).
