This month is dedicated to SHARP awareness and we asked our Soldiers what they appreciate about the SHARP program.
“The SHARP program is in place to protect Soldiers from sexual harassment and sexual assault,” Pvt. Alexander O'Keefe, 89B Ammunition Specialist, E Troop, 5th Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 2nd Infantry ROK-U.S. Combined Division from Livingston, NJ. "I think it's a great program for victims that have the unfortunate circumstance of having something as terrible as sexual assault or harassment happen to them. It makes me feel a lot safer knowing that this program is in place. I think that it is a good program to standby and protect Soldiers." (U.S. Army photo by KPFC Ju, Sang Yeon)
