    Capt. James Norton, commanding officer of Navy Medicine Operational Training Center, and Capt. Gail Hathaway, commander of Navy Medicine Education and Training Command, receive a brief on the Los Angeles County Hospital Mercy Flight helicopter at the Naval Trauma Training Center. Hathaway and Norton are on a tour of West Coast Navy Medicine training facilities which fall under the NMETC/NMOTC area of responsibility. NTTC is located on the Los Angeles County Hospital and University of Southern California Medical School campus and is an intensive three-week course during which students receive real-world training at one of the busiest trauma facilities in the United States.
