DJIBOUTI, Djibouti (March 14, 2023) - Gunners Mate 2nd Class Gioranah Abellard, Navy Reserve Sailor assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron Eight (MSRON 8), navigates a convoy of large vehicles as she drives through the heart of Djibouti, March 14, 2023. The Maritime Expeditionary Security Force is a core Navy capability that provides port and harbor security, high value asset security, and maritime security in the coastal and inland waterways. Camp Lemonnier (CLDJ) serves as an expeditionary base for U.S. military forces providing, support to ships, aircraft, and personnel that ensure security throughout Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
