GULF OF TADJOURA, Djibouti (March 14, 2023) Gunners Mate 1st Class Ronald Welch, Navy Reserve Sailor assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron Eight (MSRON-8), mans the crewman position on a patrol boat in the Gulf of Tadjoura, MSRON-8’s area of responsibility. Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti serves as an expeditionary base for U.S. military forces providing support to ships, aircraft and personnel that ensure security throughout Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
