Brig. Gen. David R. Doran was promoted in a ceremony at the flag circle on Camp Robinson, April 12, 2023. Doran is assuming the duties of assistant director for aviation, information and intelligence at National Guard Bureau in Arlington, Va.
Prior to his assignment as chief of J59 strategic assessments, futures and initiatives division on NGB joint staff at the Pentagon, he served as the commander of the 77th Theater Aviation Brigade of the Arkansas Army National Guard.
Though originally from Oregon, Maj. Gen. Jonathan M. Stubbs opened his remarks by welcoming him and the Doran family back home to the Great State of Arkansas.
