CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti (April 1, 2023) Service members deployed to CLDJ cheer as the bi-annual Captain's Cup kicked off with a three-point shootout marking the first of 15 events taking place over the course of the next month, April 1. The Captain's Cup is an annual navy tradition allowing separate units to come together, build comradery, and engage in friendly competition. CLDJ is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
