Retired U.S Marine Corps Col. Harvey C. Barnum Jr., a Medal of Honor recipient, right, embraces Retired Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sgt. An Arleigh Burke-class Flight IIA guided missile destroyer, the USS Harvey C. Barnum Jr. (DDG-124), has been named in his honor, and is expected to be commissioned in 2024.
