YOKOSUKA, Japan (March 31, 2023) – Cryptologic Technician (Collection) 1st Class Geanaly Bowen, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, assigned to U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), performs a baton block after being sprayed with oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray during a security reaction force basic (SRF-B) course at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka March 31, 2023. SRF-B is a three-week course that teaches rules and regulations as an armed watch stander and provides Sailors with proper weapons familiarization, tactical maneuvers and the proper use of deadly force.
