Presenter David Woods Bartley, tells members of the Fort Sill Command Planning Group he didn't show any signs that he was suicidal before his attempted suicide Aug. 31, 2011. "Instead of looking for signs, try connecting with others and making them feel seen, heard and valued. A Soldier can't be resilient unless they have hope, which comes from a foundation of connection." Bartley was on Fort Sill March 22-23 to speak to groups about resilience.
