Dozens of Federal Emergency Management Administration trailers are lined up near Rentschler Field, East Hartford, Conn., Oct. 31. The trailers, loaded with bottled water, Meals Ready to Eat, cots and blankets, were delivered to the Connecticut National Guard commodity distribution site where they were unloaded and delivered to towns across the state in need of relief in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, which struck the state on Oct. 29. The Guard worked with FEMA and the state Department of Corrections to provide relief wherever it was needed. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Jordan Werme, 130th Public Affairs Detachment)
