Two U.S. Army soldiers in ACU (Army Combat Uniform) are engaged in what appears to be a military ceremony, likely a change of command or unit activation event. The soldier facing the camera has the name tape 'CLOUD' and wears a black beret with a blue flash bearing a gold oak leaf insignia, indicating the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. A unit guidon or flag is visible in the background, consistent with a formal military ceremony on a parade field.

Lt. Col. Noah C. Cloud, Special Troops Battalion incoming commander, is handed the battalion colors from Col. Lawrence Kominiak, 7th Sustainment Brigade commander, during the STB change of command ceremony Oct. 26 at Murphy Field. The passing of the colors is a time-honored military tradition symbolizing the passing of command authority from an outgoing commander, in this case Lt. Col. Steven M. Wilke, to his replacement, Lt. Col. Cloud. With the passing of the colors, Cloud assumes responsibility for the battalion.
