COL. Brian Jacobs, USAG Ft Hamilton Garrison Commander, CSM Eva Commons with PS 264, Bay Ridge School for The Arts Principal Marisa Bolognino, Assistant Principal Irene Nicholson and Lisa Sheehan Child and Youth Outreach Director for Ft Hamilton, on March 15, 2023.
PS 264 welcomed the opportunity to meet with COL Jacobs to discuss the importance of community education outreach in the community, and the collaborative educational opportunities that are available to the FT Hamilton community.
The visit was an opportunity for COL Jacobs and CSM Commons to learn more about the school which services families living at Fort Hamilton, its students, and to discuss ways that the Army can continue to support the school and the community.
Lisa Sheehan Child and Youth Outreach Director for Ft Hamilton was instrumental in arranging the meeting and tour of the school as part of the COL Jacobs ongoing community outreach program to strengthen relations between FT Hamilton and local schools in the Bay Ridge area that service the Garrison Community.
