Following a demonstration by the Norwegian Home Guard instructors, Soldiers and Airmen with the Minnesota National Guard attempt to light the multi-fuel stove at Camp Vaernes, Norway, on Feb. 11, 2017. The stove – which could prove to be the most loved piece of Norwegian military equipment during a four-day field exercise in the polar mountains of Norway – is meant to be used inside squad-size tents to provide much-needed warmth while also enabling the drying of clothes and melting of snow for drinking water.
