A U.S. Marine with Battalion Landing Team 1/6, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, recovers a simulated casualty while conducting a long-range tactical recovery of aircraft personnel (TRAP) during MEU Exercise III at Fort Gordon, Georgia, March 10, 2023. TRAP training develops the MEU’s capability to recover isolated personnel and aircraft in hostile, uncertain and non permissive environments.
