230302-N-FM230-1054 ADRIATIC SEA (March 2, 2023) A U.S. Air Force CV-22 Osprey, assigned to 7th Special Operations Squadron, 352nd Special Operations Wing, lands on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77), March 2, 2023. These operations demonstrate USEUCOM's ability to rapidly deploy Special Operations Forces (SOF) throughout the Sixth Fleet Area of Responsibility. The George H.W. Bush Carrier Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe area of operations, employed by U.S. Sixth Fleet to defend U.S., allied, and partner interests.
