GUAYNABO, Puerto Rico, Apr. 28, 2022 – Alternate Federal Disaster Recovery Coordinator Andrés García Martinó, FEMA Mitigation Director Antonio Busquets Lόpez, Planning Board Chairman Julio Lassus, officials from the Puerto Rico Central Office of Recovery, Reconstruction and Resiliency (COR3) met to discuss work plans and updates on various Hazard Mitigation projects assigned to the Planning Board and the Office of Permit Management. Among the projects with funds allocated by FEMA are: $144,458,427 for Building Code Compliance, 5,500,000.00 for the Adoption of the Building Code, 4,967,144.00 for Local Mitigation Plan Update and $400,000.00 for Runoff Management Regulation.
