Coast Guardsmen from Coast Guard Cutter Polar Star (WAGB 10), learn about marine life in Antarctica from a member of the National Science Foundation during a visit at Palmer Station, Antarctica, March 3, 2023. Members of the Polar Star crew got the opportunity to tour Palmer Station science facilities and learn about the National Science Foundation’s mission in Antarctica.
