U.S. Navy Sailors with 3rd Medical Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, offload a simulated patient from a Marine Corps Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement during a mass casualty evacuation drill as part of Exercise Cobra Gold at Camp Jessada, Kingdom of Thailand, March 2, 2023. The simulated patients that participated in the drill were transported from Hat Yao beach to Camp Jessada to receive a higher echelon of medical care. Cobra Gold, now in its 42nd year, is a Thai-U.S. co-sponsored training event that builds on the longstanding friendship between the two allied nations and brings together a robust multinational force to promote regional peace and security in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
