    II Marine Expeditionary Force   

    Capt. Devaunt LeClaire prepares the 50 Caliber Machine Gun in the turret of his Medium All-Terrain Vehicle (MATV) during mounted convoy operations at Marine Corps Auxiliary Landing Field Bogue. Oct. 18. The exercise was designed to prepare the Marines with II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward) for their upcoming deployment to Afghanistan. The Marines are scheduled to deploy as part of a Security Force Assistance Adviser Team.
