U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Miles Owens, assigned to the 2nd Security Force Assistance Brigade, and Djibouti’s Battalion Intervention Rapide Soldiers, celebrate their accomplishments during an awards ceremony at exercise Justified Accord 2023 (JA23) in Isiolo, Kenya, Feb. 22, 2023. U.S. and African military partners conducted a round robin fútbol game to build esprit de corps and camaraderie. JA23 is U.S. Africa Command’s largest exercise in East Africa.
