U.S. Air Force Maj. Maggie Wertz, a 386th Expeditionary Medical Squadron family medicine physician, performs acupuncture on an Airman at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, Feb. 17, 2023. The 386th EMDS Occupational Support Team visited Camp Buehring to provide medical services to Airmen stationed there to include vaccinations, mental health counseling, acupuncture, and physical therapy. The 386th EMDS Operational Support Team provides medical services to the warfighters at Camp Buehring, Cargo City, and other squadrons that are unable to get away from their work on base to ensure they are still receiving the treatment needed to remain fit to fight.
