PARAMARIBO -- A student from the Johan Chelius School walks toward the newly open dental clinic, as its first patient, in Redi Doti, Suriname, Feb. 13, 2023. To enhance the opportunity for local villages to receive dental treatment, the village chief decided to build a dental clinic, where the Lesser Antilles Medical Assistance Team dental personnel had the privilege of operating on its first patients and set the pace for future dental care in the community.
